How To Schedule Your Tweets On Twitter Using Buffer!

In this article, I’d like to share with you guys a nice online tool we recently discovered called Buffer – that allows you to schedule your Twitter tweets with a simple, easy to use interface that helps you become more consistent when it comes to ‘tweeting’!

What do I mean by ‘more consistent’? Well, we all have busy days – even weeks, where we might not get to tweet as often as we would like and therefore, possible ‘neglect’ our followers, right? Sure, there are plenty of tools/apps and the like such as TweetDeck to pre-populate and schedule a weeks full of tweets, but is that always the answer to the time Vs tweets debate?

Well, there could be answer for you using Buffer. Watch this short screen-cast I created to learn more:

Pretty neat don’t you think?! Having Buffer as an ‘aid’ to your tweeting makes perfect sense to me. It means I can drop a few tweets in place that will ‘filter’ to my followers over a few days and intersperse those with ‘live’ tweets throughout my own time while I’m online.

Maybe its not for everyone but I like it. Give it a whirl I’d love to know what you think…it wont cost you anything and you may just like it!

Wow, thanks so much for creating such a comprehensive screencast for Buffer Kevin. I am very sure that many will find this super useful to know what they can do with Buffer.

I’m very glad you pointed out that Buffer is not the answer to everything on Twitter. We’re very keen to encourage people to use Buffer alongside other tools in order to get the most out of Twitter, and we’re very keen to make people aware of the importance of engaging with others. We’ve heard from others that Buffer is useful because it allows them to handle easily sharing consistently, and that frees them up to be much better with the engagement (in fact the Buffered tweets can trigger some great engagement too).

We will always have a great free plan, since we want everyone to be able to benefit from Buffer. One of the nice benefits for us is that we have amazing people like you doing things like this to help us to grow.

Thanks again for this Kevin. I’m going to chat to Leo about a page on the Buffer website for screencasts to help our users, I’d love to get this up there so that more people can hopefully see it and benefit from it. The final thing I’ll say is, I’m very jealous that you are going skydiving! I’d love to do it sometime (though that’s a scary thought too).

The skydive by the way was absolutely brilliant – highly recommend it! Hers’ a video trailer from my jump if you care to take a look – I’m the scared looking one in the video ;-)
